To activate your no-charge ATA specialist council membership, first login to ATA Online Services from the ATA Provincial Website – http://www.teachers.ab.ca. 
Once the ATA provincial Website has loaded in your Web browser, select the login option in the upper right-hand corner of your screen to login to ATA Online Services. You may activate your ATA Online Services account from the login screen if you’ve not already done so.

Once successfully logged into ATA Online Services, you should see displayed personalized menus near the top of your browser window including one titled Access Your Sites.  From the Access Your Sites menu select the option Specialist Council Membership. This option should take you to the Specialist Council Membership system.

The ATA Online Services Specialist Council Membership system is wizard driven; you should be guided through the options of selecting your no-charge specialist council membership. At the time of writing this information guide, no-charge specialist council memberships do not expire as long as you maintain your active membership in The Alberta Teachers’ Association.
